Employment

Join our small, energized, and innovative architectural firm in downtown San Anselmo, just 15 miles north of San Francisco. We specialize in serving residential clients across Marin, Napa, Sonoma, San Bruno, Santa Clara, and Monterey Counties. If you’re passionate about high-end residential homes and love being fully involved in every aspect of architecture projects, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

We’re currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Project Architect to join our friendly and growing team. With 5+ years of experience in high-end residential projects, you’ll play a vital role in our collaborative studio environment. From Pre-Design to Construction Administration, you’ll have the chance to showcase your skills in areas like Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.

We value personal connections as much as professional expertise, so the ability to mesh well with our team is paramount. We’re looking for positive, cheerful, and creative individuals who are clear thinkers and solution seekers. Resourcefulness, initiative, and a high level of professionalism are also qualities we highly value.

Qualities we seek:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
  • Strong communication skills to engage with clients, builders, consultants and government offices
  • Proficiency in CAD/BIM-level software (Archicad preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel for efficient support work
  • Strong graphic, communication, and organization skills
  • Efficiency and timely delivery without compromising quality
  • Living in the North Bay or San Francisco area to understand the local communities we serve
  • Your own transportation for site visits, meetings, and project submissions to local jurisdictions

At our firm, we prioritize the health and safety of our team and clients. Therefore, we require all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including their booster shot.

We offer a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, along with health care benefits and profit sharing. As a team, we foster a supportive and collaborative environment where everyone’s contributions are valued.

If you’re inspired and feel you meet the above criteria, we’d love to hear from you. Please send your cover letter (including salary expectations and earliest start date), resume, PDF portfolio showcasing your work (up to 10MB), and any additional elements that reflect your design style and personality to jobs@hubbelldaily.com. Please don’t forget to include references.

Please note that due to the high volume of applicants, we can only respond to successful candidates. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to potentially welcoming you to our team!
